About Me
My Story
I always struggled with maths, even while I was succeeding in other subjects. I noticed that it seems socially acceptable to say things like “I’m just bad at maths” and “I’m not a numbers person”. I used to believe that, and as a child growing up I knew so many others who did too. I’d been to maths tutors but what I was learning in lessons just wasn’t going in.
With more than 10 years’ experience teaching maths of all levels, I now believe that there’s no such thing as being “naturally bad at maths”. I bring a different, more intuitive approach to learning difficult concepts for every level, from beginner to advanced, and have found that my students enjoy much better numerical comprehension after studying with me.
As I didn’t understand maths in school, I had to work extra hard to get to where I am today. This approach forced me to understand the fundamentals of mathematics and allowed me to learn concepts in a way that anyone can understand. I’m a charismatic, empathetic, and patient teacher, and I know my students’ struggles – I’ve been there myself! I’ll work with you through each concept until we’re both sure that you’ve comprehended it and can promise that you’ll achieve your goals with me.
